Queens Men Maintain, Drury Women Regain Top Spot

The results of the second Division II Poll are in. Queens University of Charlotte men have kept the number one spot while the Drury University women stole the show from the Lady Royals.

The top three spots of the men's poll were unchanged with Drury and Indianapolis behind the top-ranked Royals.  A pair of Michigan schools - Grand Valley and Northern Michigan moved up two and five spots respectively to round out the top five.  RMAC schools made the biggest leaps with #6 Colorado Mesa University and #7 Oklahoma Baptist University jumping fifteen and five spots.

After Drury and Queens (NC), the women's poll found UC San Diego, Indianapolis and West Chester in the top five.  UCSD's leap into the top five comes on the heels of the institution's announcement that it will begin transitioning to Division I.

The poll aims to measure the top teams in head-to-head competition.  The rankings are voted on by CSCAA-member coaches and the next poll is scheduled for release on January 16th.
