Tuesday: How to win With No championships - Bo Hanson, Olympic Medalist & Performance Consultant
NOTE: 2PM EASTERN
The new challenge we are all facing with the ‘Covid Crisis’ is how to manage our teams when our competition is cancelled, suspended, interrupted or postponed. When prior goals have been up-ended, effective strategies are needed to bring the team together, keep them united, on track, and ready for when the new normality returns to our sport.
In this webinar, we discuss what winning means in this new environment. We explore and define what your ‘Winning Equation’ is, and what the critical points of focus are to bring your team together and tune them into what is most productive now.
After this webinar, you will be equipped with a collection of new strategies to shape and drive your team. It is all about refocusing on what winning looks like at this moment in time, and how to make this time the most successful possible.
Wednesday: Power Towers & Resistance Training - Jake Shellenberger (Liberty)
Meet the man who literally wrote the book on Power Towers and is one of the most knowledgeable coaches on deck regarding the most beneficial uses of resistance training. His Book Power & Towers & Swimming: The Guide is an invaluable resource for those learning the science of resistance training in water, and off. Jake will discuss the lifts and tools he finds most beneficial to swimming - through the lenses of art, science, and experience. In his words, “Belief is a powerful component of training. When coaches and athletes believe in a particular movement, it will undoubtedly produce excellent results, even if the science is not 100% in agreement.”
