CSCAA Announces Recipients and Annual Awards Celebration Details
February 29, 2024- The College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association has announced the details and recipients of the 2024 Annual Awards Celebration. This event will honor five distinguished individuals within the swimming and diving community. Alongside these primary awards, special acknowledgment will be given to those inducted into the inaugural class of the Division III Swimming and Diving Hall of Fame, the top individual and university that raised funds to fight cancer through Swim Across America, and collegiate coaches who have achieved significant milestones in their years of service.
"We are deeply honored and thrilled to celebrate this exceptional group of individuals who have truly made a difference, each contributing in unique and impactful ways to the sport of swimming and diving. We eagerly anticipate coming together in Indianapolis to express our gratitude and celebrate not only these remarkable individuals but also their collective efforts, which have significantly shaped our sport” commented Samantha Barany, Executive Director of College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association.

Swim Across America Recognition
About the College Cup: Swim Across America and the CSCAA have joined forces to honor the significant philanthropic endeavors of numerous college teams. The College Cup stands as a year-long fundraising showdown amongst Swim Across America college teams nationwide. Through active involvement in the College Cup, teams collaborate to make a difference in the battle against cancer, all the while engaging in open water competition alongside fellow college teams. This year the CSCAA will recognize Emory University as the top fundraising team and William Kerscher (Emory University) as the top fundraising individual.

The 2024 CSCAA Annual Meetings & Convention will take place from May 5-8, 2024, in Indianapolis, Indiana. Individuals who are not attending the Annual Meetings, but wish to join the Awards Celebration can RSVP and purchase tickets by contacting Edie Ashman: edie@cscaa.org.
