CSCAA Announces 2025 NJCAA All-American Honors

The College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) announced the NJCAA All-Americans for the 2024-25 season. In the NJCAA National Championship last week, Indian River State claimed their 51st consecutive championship finishing with a team score of 1,362 points. Southwestern Oregon came in second with 846 points, followed by Iowa Central with 463.

On the women’s side, Indian River took home their 47th NJCAA Swimming & Diving Championship title – 43rd consecutive championship – collecting 25 event titles and setting six new national records. Southwestern Oregon finished runner up with 846 points while Barton finished third with 354. The CSCAA congratulates all honorees for their outstanding performances at the national championship level.

The CSCAA’s 2025 NJCAA Men’s Swimmer of the Year is Oliver Nell of Indian River, who secured four individual titles and four relay titles while setting meet records in the 50 Freestyle, 50 Backstroke, 100 Backstroke, 50 Butterfly, 200 Freestyle Relay, 200 Medley Relay, 400 Medley Relay, and 400 Freestyle Relay.

Justin Halford, also from Indian River, was named Diver of the Year after claiming titles in both the 1-Meter and 3-Meter events, setting a meet record in the 3-Meter competition.

Indian River’s Sion Brinn was named Men’s Swimming Coach of the Year, while Indian River’s David Suba was name Men’s Diving Coach of the Year. The Pioneer staff guided their men to their 51st consecutive NJCAA Championship.

Indian River State was led by NJCAA Swimmer of the Year, Aurora Zanin, who won all four of her individual events, set a national record in the 200 Butterfly, and anchored the record-breaking 400 Freestyle Relay. Diver of the Year, Alexandra Andueza, also from Indian River, claimed titles in both the 1-Meter and 3-Meter events, setting a meet record in the 3-Meter competition.

Sandra Bullock was named the NJCAA Women’s Swimming Coach of the Year after guiding Southwestern Oregon to a second place finish. David Suba of Indian River was named Women’s Diving Coach of the year after helping the Pioneer women bring home a 43rd consecutive title and guiding Alexandra Andueza to Diver of the Year honors.

Individuals were selected on the basis of their finish at the NJCAA Championships and membership with the CSCAA. The top eight individuals and top four relays in each event earned All-American. Teams must be a current CSCAA member to be eligible.
