CSCAA Announces Schedule and Sponsors for the 2025 Dual Meet Challenge

September 2, 2025  — The College Swimming & Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) has released the meet schedule for the CSCAA Dual Meet Challenge, set for November 21–23, 2025, at The Allan Jones Aquatic Center on the campus of The University of Tennessee.

The event is meant to showcase some of the nation’s top talent in a bold new format that strategically develops innovative competitions —essential for sparking engagement and drawing new fans to the sport. By building lasting fandom for teams and athletes, these new events will strengthen and elevate the entire ecosystem. The event will feature four elite programs—each representing one of the Power 4 conferences:

“The Dual Meet Challenge is exactly the kind of bold, innovative competition our sport needs,” said Herbie Behm, head swimming and diving coach at Arizona State University. “Our whole team is fired up about participating. It not only gives our athletes a chance to shine in a high-stakes, team-oriented environment, but it also creates a platform that fans—both new and longtime—can rally behind. This event has the power to raise the profile of college swimming and diving nationwide, and ASU is excited to be at the forefront.”

Presented by Visit Knoxville, sponsored by Hydrosite and hosted by the University of Tennessee, the CSCAA Dual Meet Challenge will feature a competitive bracket format across three days, culminating in the crowning of the championship team. The lineup includes two meets on Day 1, three meets on Day 2, and two decisive matchups on Day 3.

“This is an incredible opportunity for our team to compete in a high-octane, championship-style event,” said Matt Bowe, head swimming and diving coach at the University of Michigan. “I believe our team is built for success in an event like this and it not only allows us to showcase Michigan, but it also puts forward a concept that could help shape the future of collegiate swimming and diving—and one day serve as a model for an NCAA national championship.”
