Erik Posegay Named to CSCAA Board of Directors

September 11, 2025 — The College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) announced today that Erik Posegay, Associate Head Coach at the University of Texas, has been appointed to the CSCAA Board of Directors as the Division I Men’s Representative.

“I’m excited to join the CSCAA Board and have long respected the important work the Association is doing for our sport,” said Posegay. “I’m eager to get involved and contribute, because at the end of the day we all want swimming and diving to thrive at every level. Being part of our coaches’ association gives me the opportunity to play a direct role in shaping the future of our sport collegiately.”

Samantha Barany, Executive Director of the CSCAA, welcomed Posegay to the Board, noting the value of his broad experience:

Now in his second year at Texas, Posegay has helped continue the program’s storied tradition of excellence, contributing to the Longhorns’ 2024–25 national championship season and the international success of its athletes. His addition further strengthens a CSCAA Board committed to building a diverse and experienced leadership team that ensures the long-term success of collegiate swimming and diving at every level.
