The final day of the first Dual Meet Challenge featured eleven individual events as well as the 200 medley and 200 freestyle relays. Michigan’s men and Tennessee’s women claimed victories in their respective third-place meets, each contest marked by tight races and momentum swings before their depth ultimately secured the win.
In the championship matchups, Virginia faced Michigan on the women’s side while Arizona State took on Tennessee in a rematch. The top-seeded teams, Virginia and Arizona State, held strong throughout the session, finishing the weekend undefeated and capturing the inaugural Dual Meet Challenge titles.
Anna Moesch was named the Women’s Swimmer of the Meet after winning each of her individual events. With her performances, Moesch climbed into the all-time top five in both the 100- and 200-yard freestyle and now holds the nation’s top times in both events.
Ilya Kharun was named the Men’s Swimmer of the meet, Kharun won each of his individual events over the course of the weekend and helped guide six relays to victory. His 18.68 fly split from the 200 Yard Medley Relay on Saturday became the fastest in history.

#3 Michigan 37 vs #4 Virginia 19
In the battle for third place, the Michigan men edged out Virginia thanks to consistent depth across key events. Michigan won the 200 medley relay to get an early edge. Michigan freshman Antoine Sauva led the charge in the 200 free as his team widened the gap through wins in the breaststroke and freestyle sprint events. Virginia fought hard with wins by David King in the 100 back, Jack Aikins in the 200 back, but Michigan locked in the victory with a breaststroke sweep and sealed it with the 500 free.
#1 Arizona State 37 vs #2 Tennessee 19
Arizona State delivered an impressive performance to claim the men’s championship, opening with a win in the 200 medley relay and never relinquishing control. Remi Fabiani added another victory in the 200 free, while Ilya Kharun contributed two major wins. Andy Dobrzanski swept the breaststroke events with strong wins in both the 100 and 200 breast, while the Sun Devils also excelled in the distance events, led by Mattia Mauri and Noah Mudadu in the 500 free. ASU capped off the meet with a victory in the 200 free relay, pulling away for a 37–19 victory over Tennessee and securing the Men’s Dual Meet Challenge championship.

#3 Tennessee 35 vs #4 Arizona State 21
The Tennessee and Arizona State women delivered a tightly contested third-place meet that came down to strategic depth and individual wins. Tennessee claimed the top two spots in the 200 free, with Camille Spink and Ella Jansen. ASU then struck in the 100 back, taking the point there and again dominating the 100 fly. Tennessee, however, clawed back control in the breaststroke and distance events, with McKenzie Siroky winning the 100 breast and Emily Brown securing the 500 free. Finally, the Lady Vols closed out the meet out touching Arizona State to win the 200 Free relay.
#1 Virginia 40 vs #2 Michigan 16
Virginia powered to a decisive victory over Michigan in the women’s championship meet, showcasing remarkable depth and multiple standout swims across the lineup. The Cavaliers opened with a narrow runner-up finish in the 200 medley relay before quickly taking control behind strong early performances from Madi Mintenko in the 200 free and Claire Curzan’s wins in both the 100 back and 100 fly. Virginia continued to extend its lead with victories from Tess Howley in the 200 fly, Katie Grimes in the 200 back and Aimee Canny in the 500 free. Leah Hayes added another key win in the 200 IM before the Cavaliers closed out the session by taking the 200 free relay, securing a 40–16 final score and the Women’s Dual Meet Challenge championship.
