CSCAA Opens Call for Presentations

The past year has provided society the opportunity to reevaluate, reinvent, and reimagine previously held assumptions. Instead of focusing on what we couldn’t do (meet in person), we imagined how a digital platform freed us from the limitations of travel, room scheduling, and even the weather. We asked, how could we use this year to offer programs, engage more coaches and make the convention more accessible than ever.

Hosts Sought for Spring Championship Seasons

The College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association (CSCAA) is seeking hosts for the 2021 Spring Championship Series. The CSCAA Spring Championship Series will be held at multiple sites over multiple weekends. The competition will be open between April 8-25. Results from each site will be combined and published in a comprehensive set of results.

Bluffton Adds Swimming & Diving

Bluffton University will add swimming and diving as an intercollegiate sport for the 2021-22 academic year. The Beavers become the eighth men’s and fourth women’s program scheduled to dive in next season. Bluffton is NCAA DIII school and competes as part of the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference. With Bluffton’s addition of men’s and women’s swimming and diving, seven schools in the HCAC will offer the sport.

Omaha Becomes Nebraska’s Only Men’s Division I Program

The University of Nebraska at Omaha has announced the launch of a men’s swimming and diving program. The Mavericks will become the first Division I program in Nebraska since the University of Nebraska-Lincoln eliminated its men’s team in 2002.

Virtual Cup Wraps For Fall

The CSCAA Virtual Cup has wrapped up for the Fall with forty-four teams and 1,373 athletes taking part. The Fall Virtual Cup was created to provide swimmers with a tangible competitive experience with teams across the country.
