Linn Named National Scholastic Collegiate Trophy
Members of the College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America have selected Peter Linn as its recipient of its highest award, the National Collegiate and Scholastic Trophy.
Patnott and Lederhouse Receive Lifetime Achievement Awards
Jon Lederhouse and John Patnott, two mainstays of small college swimming have been awarded Lifetime Achievement Awards by the College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America. The coaching legends will be recognized at the CSCAA’s 58th Annual Awards Banquet on May 7th at the Hilton Orrington in Evanston, Illinois.

Cliff Devries, Rochester Institute of Technology’s inspirational and successful diving coach has been selected for the Richard E Steadman Award by the College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America.
Mullin Scholars Selected
The University of Chicago Medicine has announced this summer’s group of Ted Mullin Scholars who will join cancer research teams at Comer Children’s Hospital at the Hyde Park campus in Chicago. CSCAA Selects All-Americans
The College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America has selected its All-American teams. Denison University led all Divisions with thirty students selected to the first-team. Stanford University, Queens University of Charlotte, Kenyon College and Emory University each had twenty-three first-team selections.
What AD’s are Asking Us
Hiring season is upon us.
With at least four positions open and three new programs coming online and looking for a coach, hiring season is officially open. In fact, the data shows that in a given year 10% of teams will hire a new head coach and almost a quarter will hire an assistant.
Freeman Class of 2018 Selected
The College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) has selected six assistant coaches to receive the Jean Freeman Scholarship. The scholarships are given annually to six assistant coaches whose exceptional contributions have brought recognition to their college or university, and whose leadership, integrity, honesty, competitive attitude and personal graciousness epitomizes those characteristics reflected by Jean Freeman, longtime women’s swimming coach at the University of Minnesota.
CSCAA Selects NAIA All-Americans & Award-Winners
The College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) selected their NAIA All-America team.. In total, 80 men and 69 women were selected.
Stanford Captures Final TYR Top 25 Swim/Dive Poll
Following a 151-149 upset win over visiting California, the Stanford University men’s swimming and diving team have moved to the top of the final CSCAA / TYR Top 25 Poll. Indiana and Florida finished dual meet season ranked third and fourth respectively.
