Dennis Dale Selected for 2024 CSCAA Lifetime Achievement Award
Longtime Minnesota head coach Dennis Dale has been selected to receive the Lifetime Achievement Award by the Executive Board of the College Swimming & Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA).
CSCAA Honors Doug Grooms with Richard E. Steadman Award
Doug Grooms has been selected as the 2024 Richard E. Steadman Award Winner for doing the most to spread happiness in the sport of swimming and diving. Grooms was selected by the College Swimming & Diving Coaches Association’s (CSCAA) Board of Directors and will be recognized at the 63rd Annual CSCAA College Swimming & Diving Awards in May in Indianapolis.
Finalists Named for 2024 National Collegiate and Scholastic Trophy
The nominees for the National Collegiate Scholastic Trophy were announced today by the College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA). The trophy is awarded by both the CSCAA and National Interscholastic Swimming Coaches Association (NISCA). It is the highest honor in intercollegiate and interscholastic swimming and diving and awarded to the individual who has made “the greatest contribution to swimming as a competitive sport, and as a healthful, recreational activity in the province of undergraduate and scholastic education.”

This scholarship, named in honor of the revered coaching legend Jean Freeman, seeks to recognize and support collegiate Head and Assistant coaches who embody the exceptional qualities demonstrated by Freeman throughout her illustrious career.
Legend and Innovator, Jon Urbanchek, Named Franklin Winner
Coach Jon Urbanchek, known for his successful coaching, his profound impact on teaching training energy systems through “the colors” and most importantly as kind friend to all those he came in contact with, has been named the CSCAA’s Ben Franklin Award Winner.
CSCAA Honors Dr. Tara Kirk Sell with McCaffree Award
Dr. Tara Kirk Sell has been named the Charles McCaffree Award winner by the College Swimming & Diving Coaches Association (CSCAA). The award, selected by the CSCAA’s Board of Directors, recognizes a swimming or diving graduate who has achieved outstanding success outside of the pool. Dr. Kirk Sell will be recognized at the 62st Annual CSCAA College Swimming & Diving Awards on May 8th, in Orlando, Florida.
Bauerle Selected for 2023 CSCAA Lifetime Achievement Award
The University of Georgia’s Jack Bauerle has been selected to receive a Lifetime Achievement Award by the Executive Board of the College Swimming & Diving Coaches Association (CSCAA). In his 43-year long career at the helm of the Georgia program, Bauerle experienced success every way measurable.

CSCAA TO HOST 2023 ANNUAL MEETINGS IN ORLANDO, FLORIDA
The College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) will host Annual Meetings in Orlando, Florida in May 2023. Annually the CSCAA hosts meetings full of keynote speakers, educational opportunities and invaluable networking for College Swimming and Diving Coaches across all divisions including Division I, II, III and NAIA. The four day event will be hosted at The DoubleTree, Universal in Orlando, Florida May 7-10th, 2023.
