CSCAA President Arthur Albiero Testifies Before Congress on the Importance of Protecting Collegiate Swimming & Diving

College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) President Arthur Albiero testified before the U.S. House Judiciary Committee today in a hearing titled “Antitrust Law and the NCAA: Examining the Current Climate.”

Albiero, the head coach of the University of Louisville’s swimming and diving program, joined a distinguished panel of experts to advocate for policies that ensure the sustainability of collegiate athletics, with a specific focus on swimming and diving.

Coaches Vote Adam Soldati as 2025 National Collegiate Scholastic Trophy Winner

Adam Soldati, Former Head Coach Diving Coach at Purdue, has been selected by members of the CSCAA for the 2025 National Collegiate & Scholastic Trophy, in recognition of his contributions to college swimming and diving. He will be recognized at the 64th Annual CSCAA Awards Celebration on May 5th in Raleigh, North Carolina at the Annual Meetings.

Sid Cassidy Honored with 2025 Benjamin Franklin Award

Sid Cassidy has been named the Ben Franklin Award recipient by the College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA). This award, selected by the CSCAA’s Board of Directors, recognizes a swimming or diving graduate whose efforts and innovations best promote the integrity and enhancement of the student-athlete ideal.

CSCAA Honors Army Graduate, Dr. David R. Scott with the Charles McCaffree Award

Dr. David Scott has been named the Charles McCaffree Award winner by the College Swimming & Diving Coaches Association (CSCAA).  The award, selected by the CSCAA’s Board of Directors, recognizes a swimming or diving graduate who has achieved outstanding success outside of the pool. Andrew Young will be recognized at the 64th Annual CSCAA College Swimming & Diving Awards on May 5th in Raleigh, North Carolina.

CSCAA Honors Rob Butcher with Richard E. Steadman Award

Rob Butcher has been selected as the 2025 Richard E. Steadman Award Winner for doing the most to spread happiness in the sport of swimming and diving. Butcher was selected by the College Swimming & Diving Coaches Association’s (CSCAA) Board of Directors and will be recognized at the 64th Annual CSCAA College Swimming & Diving Awards in May in Raleigh.

Finalists Named for 2025 National Collegiate and Scholastic Trophy

The nominees for the National Collegiate Scholastic Trophy were announced today by the College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA). The trophy is awarded by both the CSCAA and National Interscholastic Swimming Coaches Association (NISCA). It is the highest honor in intercollegiate and interscholastic swimming and diving and awarded to the individual who has made “the greatest contribution to swimming as a competitive sport, and as a healthful, recreational activity in the province of undergraduate and scholastic education.”
