CSCAA100 Greatest Coaches Named

As a part of the College Swimming & Diving Coaches Association of America’s (CSCAA) Centennial Celebration, the association has named its list of 100 Greatest College Swimming & Diving Coaches of the past 100 years.
CSCAA Names 100 Greatest Men’s Swimmers & Divers

A total of 627 titles. That is the number of individual NCAA and NAIA championships of the College Swimming & Diving Coaches Association’s (CSCAA) 100 Greatest Men’s Swimmers & Divers of the past century. The selections were made as a part of the CSCAA’s 100th year.
Finalists for 100 Greatest Swimmers & Divers Named

The College Swimming & Diving Coaches Association of America’s (CSCAA) announced the candidates for its centennial list of 100 Greatest Swimmers & Divers. Nine hundred and fifty-three (962) candidates, dating back more than 100 years were selected from 2,805 nominees. They will now go to a Blue Ribbon Panel of voters who will be charged with narrowing the selections to one hundred men and one hundred women.
Centennial Blue Ribbon Panel Named
As a part of the College Swimming & Diving Coaches Association of America’s (CSCAA) year-long celebration of its centennial, a blue-ribbon panel has been convened to vote on the sport’s greatest athletes, coaches and alumni. Fifty-six voters make up the blue ribbon panel with another fourteen expected to be added. The panel is comprised of influential figures from across college swimming and diving including current and former coaches, past athletes, and members of the media.

One hundred years ago, a handful of coaches assembled to create the College Swimming Coaches Association of America (CSCAA), the nation’s first intercollegiate coaching association. This year, the CSCAA is proud to launch a year-long celebration of its rich history, showcasing the people who have made significant contributions both in the water and society and highlight opportunities the sport provides to thousands of student-athletes.
