The College Swimming Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) announces the following award recipients from the 2017 NCAA Division II Swimming and Diving Championships.

The sport of swimming has accelerated at an incredible rate over the past 30 years, particularly in the last decade. As important findings from exercise physiology research surface, swimmers and coaches have adjusted their training methods to maximize performance.

Endowing a Program

Over the past couple of days this video, unveiling the campaign to endow the scholarships of the Texas Men’s Swimming and Diving, has been circulating on the internet. The video is tremendous, featuring legendary coaches, athletes and moments to remind us of the special elements of our sport.  While the video is great, it doesn’t tell the whole story.

Behind the scenes there is significant work and planning to produce a fundraising campaign of this magnitude.

NCAA Legislative Updates and Issues Coaches, we ask that you support legislation, sponsored by the Mountain West Conference, for the CSCAA National Invitational Legislation. This legislation will allow for a season length exemption to participate in the CSCAA National Invitational Championship

Help Choose November’s @SwimOutlet Coach-of-the-Month

Fans are encouraged to vote for the SwimOutlet.com CSCAA Coach-of-the-Month.  The monthly awards recognize coaches who have experienced tremendous success over the past month.   Fans account for 1/3 of the selection process and can vote via Twitter through Midnight (EST) on Tuesday, November 29th.  

NC State, Stanford Remain Atop Division I Swimming & Diving Poll

For the first time in the 2016-17 season there was no change at the top of the CSCAA TYR Top 25 Swimming and Diving Rankings, but there was monumental change elsewhere.  For the second-consecutive poll, the North Carolina State men and Stanford women led the way.
