September 14, 2026 – The College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) has announced the schedule, voting criteria, and committee membership for the 2026-27 Division I CSCAA Top 25 polls.
The CSCAA will conduct five Division I Top 25 polls throughout the 2026-27 season, beginning with the preseason rankings in September and continuing with polls in October, December, February and March. The schedule is designed to align polling periods with key points throughout the collegiate swimming and diving season while maintaining a consistent structure for each ranking period.
The CSCAA Top 25 will serve as a comprehensive in-season ranking designed to reflect overall team strength throughout the season. Voters will consider a broad range of results and performances, providing the most complete evaluation of programs.
Poll committee members will evaluate teams based on head-to-head results, nationally ranked performances, significant performances achieved since the previous poll, results from invitational and championship-style competition, and the quality and depth of performances across events.
Together, these criteria are intended to provide a comprehensive assessment of each program’s strength at the time of the poll while recognizing the different competitive opportunities and formats that occur throughout the collegiate season.
