The College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) announced its NCAA Men’s Division I award winners and All-Americans for the 2025-26 season following last week’s National Championship in Atlanta, Ga.
The Texas Longhorns won the 2026 DI men’s swimming and diving national championships, the team’s third title in the last six years. It was Texas’ 17th championship in program history. The Longhorns scored a total of 445.5 points, beating out second-place Florida, which scored 416 points. Indiana (351) and Arizona State (328) rounded out the top four.
The CSCAA recognized the top individual achievements of the season with its major awards. Anthony Nesty of Florida was named Men’s Swim Coach of the Year, while Hubert Kos of Texas and Josh Liendo of Florida were selected as Co-Swimmers of the Year following their outstanding performances at the NCAA Championships. On the diving side, Bryan Gillooly of Florida earned Men’s Diving Coach of the Year honors, and SMU’s Luke Sitz was named Men’s Diver of the Year. The awards were determined by a vote of coaches at the NCAA Championship.
A total of 256 student-athletes earned CSCAA Division I Men’s All-America honors following the 2026 NCAA Championships. Indiana led all programs with 16 individual honorees, followed closely by Texas with 15 and Florida with 14. All-Americans are selected on the basis of their finish at the NCAA Championships and a team’s current membership with the CSCAA.
Men’s Swim Coach of the Year
Florida’s Anthony Nesty has been named the 2025-2026 CSCAA Men’s Coach of the Year after leading the Gators to a historic second place finish at the 2026 NCAA Division I Men’s Swimming & Diving Championships. Florida’s finish is the program’s best in 39 years, dating back to a runner-up result in 1985. It is just the program’s second second-place finish all-time and the highest finish since winning back-to-back national titles in 1983 and 1984.
Men’s Dive Coach of the Year
Florida’s Bryan Gillooly has been named the CSCAA Men’s Diving Coach of the Year for the 2025-2026 season. Under his leadership, Florida had a finalist in every diving event. Jesus Gonzalez led the way finishing third on the platform. On the 1-Meter Florida was the only team with multiple divers in the final with Jesus Agundez Mora finishing fourth and Conor Gesing finishing sixth. Gesing also represented the Gators in the 3-meter finishing fifth.
Men’s Co-Swimmers of the Year
Texas’ Hubert Kós has been named the 2025-2026 CSCAA Men’s Swimmer of the Year for the second consecutive year. Kós claimed titles in the 100 backstroke, and 200 backstroke and finished second in the 100 butterfly. His 42.61 in the 100 backstroke set a NCAA, U.S. Open, meet and program record. He had another record-breaking performance in the 200 backstroke going 1:34.13 to break his own NCAA, U.S. Open, meet, and program records.
Josh Liendo also earns Swimmer of the Year honors after sweeping the 50 and 100 free and 100 fly for the second time in his career. Liendo contributed 60 points to Gators’ total, earned seven All-America honors for a career total of 26 and shattered the NCAA, U.S. Open, meet, and program records in the 100 fly twice in the same day.
Men’s Diver of the Year
SMU’s Luke Sitz has been named the 2025-2026 CSCAA Men’s Diver of the Year. Sitz won the 1-meter and finished second on the 3-meter. Sitz’s victory marked the first NCAA Championship on 1-meter in SMU history while his score of 495.30 on the 3-meter set an SMU program record.
All-America Honors
Individuals were selected based on their finish at the NCAA Division I Championship and current CSCAA membership. The top eight individuals and relay teams earned First Team All-America honors, while those finishing ninth through 16th received Second Team recognition. Institutions must be current CSCAA members for their student-athletes to be eligible.
