February 3, 2026 – The College Swimming & Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) is pleased to announce the appointment of Jamie Greer as the organization’s new Senior Director of Marketing, Communications and Strategic Engagement.
Greer comes to the CSCAA from the Coastal Athletic Association (CAA), where she has played a key leadership role since 2016, most recently serving as Associate Commissioner for Digital Engagement and Social Promotion. At the CAA, she oversaw the conference’s social media platforms and website, driving digital content and brand growth while providing comprehensive coverage of regular-season competition and championship events. In this role, Greer also served as the primary liaison with member institutions’ marketing directors and external partners to elevate the league’s visibility and engagement.
“We are incredibly excited to welcome Jamie to the CSCAA team,” said Samantha Barany, Executive Director of the CSCAA. “I had the privilege of working with her and her proven leadership, creativity and commitment to collegiate athletics make her an ideal fit for this role. She arrives at the CSCAA with great experience and will make a significant impact as we continue to elevate our association and advocate for our coaches and student-athletes across the country.”
With more than 15 years of experience in college athletics, including an appointment as vice-chair on the NCAA Division I Swimming and Diving Committee, Jamie brings deep expertise in the sport of swimming and diving, both at the conference and the national level.
“Working alongside Jamie on the NCAA Swimming and Diving Oversight Committee, I saw firsthand her ability to collaborate, listen, and lead with integrity,” said Mike Spiegler, Senior Associate Athletics Director at the University of Florida and the NCAA Swimming and Diving Oversight Committee Chair. “She has earned the respect of administrators, coaches, and colleagues across the country, and I’m confident she will be a tremendous asset to the CSCAA and its membership.”
Greer’s experience spanning the Coastal Athletic Association (CAA), The American Athletic Conference, and the Big East has provided her with first-hand insight into working on behalf of member institutions, athletic directors, and coaches during periods of significant change in collegiate athletics. Across these leagues, she played key roles during moments of realignment, rebranding, evolving governance structures, and shifting competitive landscapes. This perspective uniquely equips her to support the CSCAA membership as the association continues to navigate the rapidly changing collegiate sports environment.
“The CSCAA has made a great decision in making Jamie Greer a member of their senior staff,” said Coastal Athletic Association Commissioner, Joey D’Antonio. “ Jamie has done an incredible job during her time at the CAA. Her attention to detail, tremendous work ethic and knowledge of the sport of swimming and diving will allow her to make an immediate positive impact on CSCAA’s future.”
In her new role, Greer will lead the CSCAA’s marketing and communications efforts, deepen strategic engagement with members and partners, and help elevate the profile of collegiate swimming and diving throughout the NCAA landscape.
“I am thrilled to join the CSCAA team and support the mission of advancing collegiate swimming and diving nationwide,” said Greer. “After working in college athletics for the last 15 years I am so honored and excited to be able to work every day to enhance and impact my first love, which is the sport of swimming and diving. A huge thank you to Samantha Barany and the Board of Directors for this opportunity and I am beyond ready to work with our coaches and advocate for collegiate swimming and diving to continue to propel our sport into the future.”
