December 19, 2025 – The College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) has released the December edition of the Division II Top 25 dual meet poll, with the Drury men and Tampa women claiming the top spots this month.
The committee, made up of Division II coaches, evaluates and ranks the nation’s top 25 dual meet teams based on several factors. These include head-to-head dual meet results, performances since the last rankings, season-long achievements, dual meet records, roster changes (such as injuries), and data from the SwimCloud simulator. It’s important to note that the poll is not intended to predict top finishers in a championship meet format.
Drury (250) continues to lead the Division II Men’s Dual Meet Poll. Indianapolis (238) and Tampa (230) swap places to rank second and third, respectively. Colorado Mesa (220) moves up two spots to fourth, while Wingate (209) holds the fifth position in the December poll. Lynn makes the most significant climb, jumping six spots to ninth. Delta State (77), Colorado School of Mines (69), and West Chester (35) all enter the Top 25 this month, ranking 19th, 20th, and 21st, respectively. In total, 28 teams received votes.
On the women’s side, Tampa (244) moves into the top spot in the latest CSCAA Division II rankings, narrowly edging Nova Southeastern (243), which comes in second. Colorado Mesa (229) makes a notable jump from fifth to third, while Drury (220) and West Florida (213) round out the top five. Delta State (171) climbs five spots to ninth, while Colorado School of Mines (139) is the other major mover, rising six places to 12th. The December poll also welcomes four new teams into the Top 25 compared to November, with Minnesota State Mankato (79) ranking 18th, West Chester (42) 22nd, the University of Missouri–St. Louis (28) 24th, and McKendree (21) 25th. In total, 29 teams received votes in the December edition of the poll.
