Drury Men and Tampa Women Top January Division II Poll

January 23, 2026 –  The College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) has released the January edition of the Division II Top 25 dual meet poll, with the Drury men and Tampa women claiming the top spots this month.

The committee, made up of Division II coaches, evaluates and ranks the nation’s top 25 dual meet teams based on several factors. These include head-to-head dual meet results, performances since the last rankings, season-long achievements, dual meet records, roster changes (such as injuries), and data from the SwimCloud simulator. It’s important to note that the poll is not intended to predict top finishers in a championship meet format.

Drury (247) lead the Division II Men’s Dual Meet Poll to open 2026. Indianapolis (240), Tampa (228) and Colorado Mesa (224) kept the top four static coming in at second, third and fourth respectively.  Grand Valley State (210) moved up one spot to round out the top five. Rollins (55) made the most significant leap up the rankings, up four spots to 20th. Twenty-Nine teams received votes in the January edition of the poll.

On the women’s side, Tampa (250) remains atop the January CSCAA Division II rankings. Nova Southeastern (232) narrowly edged Colorado Mesa (231) to maintain second and third place, respectively, while Drury (226) and West Florida (211) round out the top five. West Chester (64) recorded the largest move of the month, climbing three spots to 19th, and Biola (12) entered the top 25 at number 25. A total of 27 teams received votes in this month’s poll.

*Dual meet records are sourced from each institution’s website.
