Kenyon Women, Denison Men Continue to Lead DIII February Polls

February 6, 2026 – The College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) has released the final edition of the Division III Top 25 dual meet polls before conference championship season. The Kenyon women and Denison men stayed steady at the top spots of their respective polls.

The committee, consisting of Division III coaches, assesses and ranks the nation’s top 25 dual meet teams. Their evaluation takes into account head-to-head dual meet outcomes, performances since the last rankings, season-long performances, dual meet records, roster changes (such as injuries), and data from the SwimCloud Simulator. It’s important to note that the poll’s objective is not to predict the top finishers in a championship meet format.

Denison (424) holds the top position in the Division III Men’s February Poll as the top-seven from January’s rankings stayed the same. Emory (402) remained in second, followed by NYU (390) in third, Chicago (380) in fourth, and Kenyon (359) in fifth. Notable movements in the rankings include Case Western Reserve (249), which surged six spots to break into the top ten at 10th; Tufts (226), which jumped five positions into 13th; and Amherst (151), which went from receiving one vote in January to 16th. Ithaca (60) entered the top 25 for the first time all season at T22nd. Twenty-eight teams received votes in the February poll.

On the women’s side, Kenyon (343) remained at the top edging Emory (338) by five votes.  NYU (326), Denison (309), and MIT (291) hold their positions in the top five, coming in third, fourth and fifth, respectively. WashU (219) gained one position to crack into the top ten. Calvin (180) made the most significant move up in the poll, jumping five spots to 13th, while Colby (181) also made a climb up four spots to 12th. Hamilton (41) entered the top 25 at 23rd.  A total of 26 teams received votes in the February poll.
