CSCAA Welcomes Susan Bromberg to Board of Directors

Susan Bromberg, Head Diving Coach at the University of Illinois Chicago (UIC), will join the CSCAA Board of Directors.

September 27, 2024– The College Swimming & Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) is pleased to announce the appointment of Susan Bromberg, Head Diving Coach at the University of Illinois Chicago (UIC), to its Board of Directors. Bromberg will assume the role of Men's Diving Coach representative, effective immediately. Her term will continue through May 2024, with the opportunity for a two-year extension through May 2027.

Bromberg has been a pivotal figure in UIC’s diving program for over a decade, shaping both the athletic and personal development of student-athletes. Under her leadership, UIC’s divers have consistently excelled at conference championships and NCAA Zones, a testament to her expertise and commitment.

She brings a wealth of experience to the CSCAA board, having also contributed to the growth of the sport at various levels. Bromberg is the Chair of the Coaches Advisory Committee of USA Diving, which reports to the Board of Directors of USA Diving. She was elected to the NCAA Zone Diving Committee and is a representative for Zone C. She is currently serving on the NCAA Men's and Women's Swimming and Diving Rules Committee.

The CSCAA Board of Directors is comprised of 17 members representing all divisions of collegiate athletics (Division I, II, III, NAIA), along with key collegiate administrators. The board is currently led by Arthur Albiero, Head Coach of the University of Louisville Swimming & Diving team, who serves as CSCAA President.
