Social Media Innovator, Kyle Sockwell, Named Franklin Winner

Kyle Sockwell has been named the Ben Franklin Award recipient by the College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA). This award, selected by the CSCAA’s Board of Directors, recognizes a swimming or diving graduate whose efforts and innovations best promote the integrity and enhancement of the student-athlete ideal.

CSCAA Honors Andrew Young with McCaffree Award

Andrew Young has been named the Charles McCaffree Award winner by the College Swimming & Diving Coaches Association (CSCAA).  The award, selected by the CSCAA’s Board of Directors, recognizes a swimming or diving graduate who has achieved outstanding success outside of the pool. Andrew Young will be recognized at the 63rd Annual CSCAA College Swimming & Diving Awards on May 5th in Indianapolis.

CSCAA Honors Doug Grooms with Richard E. Steadman Award

Doug Grooms has been selected as the 2024 Richard E. Steadman Award Winner for doing the most to spread happiness in the sport of swimming and diving. Grooms was selected by the College Swimming & Diving Coaches Association’s (CSCAA) Board of Directors and will be recognized at the 63rd Annual CSCAA College Swimming & Diving Awards in May in Indianapolis.

Legend and Innovator, Jon Urbanchek, Named Franklin Winner

Coach Jon Urbanchek, known for his successful coaching, his profound impact on teaching training energy systems through “the colors” and most importantly as kind friend to all those he came in contact with, has been named the CSCAA’s Ben Franklin Award Winner.

Bauerle Selected for 2023 CSCAA Lifetime Achievement Award
