The second TYR Top 25 Division I poll is in the books . After two weeks worth of meets since the preseason poll was released (October 9), the committee saw enough evidence to keep the California men at number one. Also remaining in their preseason position are the Texas (2) and NC State (3) men. Missouri (4) and Indiana (5) climb into the top five. The Florida Gators moved into the top spot on the women’s side, after convincing road wins against Minnesota and Missouri. The Stanford women drop one spot to number two this week, while the Lady Vols made the largest climb from number 15 to number three after beating preseason #2, Virginia in Knoxville. Auburn and California take fourth and fifth on the women’s side.

Kentucky (17) and Minnesota (25) make their 2019-2020 debuts in the men’s Top 25 after receiving votes in the preseason poll. Northwestern and Akron make their first appearance in the 2019-2020 women’s poll at 14th and 19th, respectively. Both received voted in the preseason poll.

The full list of rankings can be found at: CSCAA TYR Top 25

The rankings are voted on by CSCAA-member coaches. Each committee includes 9 spots from the Power Five leagues and five at-large spots from non-P5 leagues. The women and men committee chairs are Naya Higashijima (SMU) and Bill Roberts (Navy). The next poll is scheduled for release on November 13th.
