Emory Men, Kenyon Women Stay On Top of DIII Polls
The College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) released the November Edition of the 2022-23 Division III Swimming & Diving Top 25 Rankings today. The committee, comprised of Division III coaches and select media, ranks the top 25 teams in the nation based on dual meet strength. The committee uses head-to-head results as the top consideration. Common opponents and simulations are also considered when establishing monthly rankings. This poll does not predict top finishers in a championship meet format. The Emory Eagles and Kenyon Owls maintained their respective perches atop the men's & women's ranks.
On the men's side, the #1 Emory Eagles (494 points) tallied fourteen first-place votes while the #2 Kenyon Owls (484) earned six first-place votes. Johns Hopkins (453) and Chicago (445) each moved up two spots to third and fourth, respectively. Denison (419) dropped two spots to fifth. Of the top 25 teams, twenty-three teams appeared on all ballots with a total of twenty-seven men's teams receiving at least one vote.
For the women, the top-ranked Kenyon Owls (496 points) earned sixteen first-place votes while the second-ranked Emory Eagles (475) earned the four remaining first-place votes. Like the men's poll, Chicago (464) has risen two spots up to third. Williams (436) maintained their position at fourth and Denison (414) dropped to fifth. Of the top 25 teams, twenty-three teams appeared on all ballots with a total of twenty-seven women's teams receiving at least one vote.
