The Statesmen will bring the Liberty League up to six teams on the men’s side. Hobart’s sister school - William Smith - has been a mainstay among the CSCAA Scholar All-America awards. This spring the women enjoyed their thirteenth-consecutive semester with a GPA above 3.33. The team will be led by current William Smith Head Swimming and Diving Coach R.C. Weston.
UMass Dartmouth has reinstated its women’s team along with women’s tennis due to changing demographics within the university. The two were slated for elimination a year ago along with women's equestrian, men's golf, men's lacrosse, co-ed sailing, men's swimming and diving, and men's tennis. The Corsairs have also exuded excellence in the classroom having earned Scholar All-American honors in the Spring of 2020 with a men’s GPA of 3.50 and women’s GPA of 3.67.
