Arizona State Men top Final Poll
March 12, 2024 - Lewisburg, PA - The College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) released the final edition of the Division I Top 25 dual-meet poll The Sun Devils have been at the top of every poll this season,
The committee, consisting of Division I coaches, assesses and ranks the nation's top 25 dual-meet teams. Their evaluation takes into account head-to-head dual-meet outcomes, performances since the last rankings, season-long performances, dual-meet records, roster changes (such as injuries), and data from the SwimCloud Simulator. It's important to note that the poll's objective is not to predict the top finishers in a championship meet format.
The Arizona State (325) men continued their reign on top of the men's poll to wrap up the year after winning the Pac-12 Championships this past weekend. The top four teams remained the same, though the order shuffled around with Florida (308), Cal (293), and NC State (292) claiming the next three spots. Stanford (271) moves up one spot to round out the top five. There was not much movement from last month's poll, though Virginia Tech (13), Michigan (16), and Virginia (17) continue a season-long rise up into the top 20. Louisiana State (24) breaks into the top 25 to close out the year. Thirty teams received votes in the final poll.
*While the committee takes conference championship results into account, the poll is meant to rank teams based on how they might perform in a dual-meet setting.

Each committee includes ten representatives from the Power Five leagues and five at-large programs. The committee chairs for women and men are Naya Higashijima (NMU) and Bill Roberts (Navy), respectively.
