UIndy Men and Colorado Mesa Women remain on top in February CSCAA Dual Meet Polls

Colorado Mesa Women and UIndy Men hold onto top spots heading into Champs Season

February 9, 2024 - Lewisburg, PA - The College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) released the February edition of the Division II Top 25 dual meet poll. The Indianapolis men and Colorado Mesa women hold onto their top spots in the February poll.

The committee, consisting of Division II coaches, assesses and ranks the nation's top 25 dual meet teams. Their evaluation takes into account head-to-head dual meet outcomes, performances since the last rankings, season-long performances, dual meet records, roster changes (such as injuries), and data from the SwimCloud Simulator. It's important to note that the poll's objective is not to predict the top finishers in a championship meet format.

On the men's side, Indianapolis (273) held onto the top spot, keeping second-ranked Drury (266) at arm's length heading into conference season. Tampa once again claims the third spot in our rankings while Grand Valley (239) stays at four. McKendree (228) and Colorado Mesa (224) battled it out for the final spot in the top five. Nova Southeastern made the most significant jump from 16th to 12th, and Delta State (24th) makes its way back into the top 25.

The women's top five remains the same in this edition of the polls, with Colorado Mesa (271), Drury (268), and Nova Southeastern (253) maintaining their position as the firm top three. While UIndy (242) and Tampa (231) round out the top five. All 25 teams appeared in our most recent poll.

*Votes were submitted before any Conference Championship meets began.

You can find a complete list of the rankings at: www.cscaa.org/top25

Each committee includes eleven representatives from across the country. The women and men committee chairs are Chris Villa (IUP) and Brent Noble (Indy).

The remaining polls are scheduled for release on: Friday, March 8. Dates are subject to adjustment.
