Two New Number Ones and Six Debuts for the DIII Polls

TYR Top 25 Dual meet poll for Division III has been released.  The Kenyon men and Johns Hopkins women are ranked in the top spot. Both were ranked number two in the preseason poll last month.

The Men’s Committee unanimously picked Kenyon and Denison as number one and two, respectively. John Hopkins and Emory flipped positions from the preseason poll as Hopkins comes in at third and Emory is fourth this time around. WashU men keeps their preseason ranking to round out the top five spots on the men's side. 

Johns Hopkins tallied ten of the number one votes in the women's poll giving them the top ranking. With three number one votes going to the Denison ladies, they hold the second position. Emory is third after opening the season number one. Kenyon and Williams both slide one position to take the 4th and 5th rankings, respectively. 
 
The November polls includes six newcomers. Gustavus at 21st and Case Western Reserve at 25th for the men. Case Western Reserve women also climb into the polls at 18th. Swarthmore and Mary Washington share the 21st position on the women's poll. Rhodes ladies are are represented for the first time at number 23rd. 

The poll aims to measure the top teams in head-to-head competition. The rankings are voted on by CSCAA-member coaches. The next scheduled release is December 11th.
