Texas Men and Golden Bears, Top 25 Dual Meet Favorites
The CSCAA released the final Top 25 Dual Meet Poll before conference championships get underway. The committee reviewed results from all forms of competition (virtual, intrasquad and in-person) due to the inconsistent schedules forced by COVID. Texas men and California women are number one.
The men's committee unanimously agreed, the Longhorns and Golden Bears are number one and two. Texas A&M moved into third; they were fourth last month. Georgia dropped from second to fourth. Florida and NC State are tied for fifth. The Big 10 adds two teams to the men's rankings with Wisconsin (19th) and Northwestern (20th).
The California women lead the polls for the first time this season with nine first place votes. Virginia remains at number two for the third month in a row. Kentucky makes a big jump, moving the Wildcats from 10th to 3rd. Florida climbs four spots into fourth. Tennessee is down one place to fifth. Wisconsin (17th), UCLA (19th), Minnesota (22) and Duke (24) enter the polls this month.

Rankings exclude teams that have announced their intention to not compete in the 2020-2021 season.
The rankings are voted on by CSCAA-member coaches and select media. Each committee includes nine representatives from the Power Five leagues, five at-large programs, and two media members. The women and men committee chairs are Naya Higashijima (SMU) and Bill Roberts (Navy). The final poll of the 2020-2021 is scheduled for release on March 11 (subject to change).
